I have been with Clearway Pain Management for four and a half years. Dr. Alex Bury has great bedside manners. He sits down with you and listens to how you feel. He is very passionate and understanding. The nursing staff are amazing as well. Mrs. Maxine runs a tight ship and makes sure the patient is taken care of. So far, so good! Only had a couple appointments, but you can already tell that it's NOT a pill factory. They have many, many other ways of taking care of your pain issues. And they WANT to help you take care of your pain issues and help manage your pain so that you can get on w/ your life. Is some medicine going to be a part of your life, for some of us, ofcourse it is, but we just need to make sure that we take it properly and learn how to manage/ deal with our pain. I wanted to add on to this because I became a patient in the Frederick office. WOW! What a difference!! And I mean that in the most Negative way possible!!!! That Dr. Makenawire or however you spell her name truly thinks that she is an actual real Doctor or something. Lady, your a pain management physician, that's it! Take your needle in your hand and pop that head of yours!! Not sure what this Lady's deal is, but she must hate her life or hate her job to act. and talk the way she does to people. But I'm not sticking around to hear it anymore. life's to short and mines to good to deal w/ her bad attitude and mouth.

I have been seen by pain management for many years. The office staff, medical assistants and physicians have provided a great patient experience. If you have an appointment they see you on time and if they are short by a staff member the team in this office works well together. The staff are great at the Germantown office. I really want to recognize Maxine for getting to know the patients by name and being attentive to their needs. I highly recommend this office for your pain management needs.

Since I started going to pain management in Germantown MD, I’ve been fortunate to have two doctors in this office who have done a great job at listening to my health issues and then tell me exactly what I need to do to manage and at times elevate whatever physical pain I am dealing with.
Doctor Nicholas Tannous, MD & Doctor Carlos Marrero-Prats, MD, I can say have been such important parts of my heath journey. They have helped me manage the severe pain that I deal with because of RA and Sjo. Listening to what I had to say and then giving me their plan on how to move forward. They both have great bedside manners, and they truly cared about what I am dealing with. There is no cure to my illness but there are ways to manage the pain. I appreciate the both of them for everything! I would recommend the both of them to anyone who may need a doctor in their field.

Everyone was very nice and very friendly and helpful they took the time to explain in detail how and what my problem was and what the plane was they were going to do to try and help me just a grate we bunch of people to be around my experience and filing was that they realy cared and was realy trying to help me .the experience was very good. Dr Yoon was awesome. Through his diagnostic work, he identified my issues and explained them so I could understand. As he was doing the testing, he was letting me know what I as about to feel. I was very comfortable with the entire appointment, checking, arrival, testing and departure. Easy facility to access. Plenty of handicap parking on the lower level of the garage, right at the elevator.

A big thank you to Dr. Marrero, Nurses Kevin and Uju. I came in for knee pain and ended up getting a cortisone shot. From the first time I visited until the day of my treatment the entire staff along with Dr. Marrero were amazing and their bedside manner and professionalism is a 10/10. I would recommend them to any and everyone. I did not feel rushed and I felt well taken care of. Their level of professionalism is second to none. Thank you to everyone of you for your level of excellence, kindness and professionalism.

Moved up here from NC..first time coming here..Doc, hit right on point...what, I told him about my pain, so (Aggressive) every day PAIN I was having Day by Day..My doctor from north carolina didn't listen TO ME, he was giving me the same Pain medicine for 5 years, and it (stop) working 4 me. The doctor here changed THAT PAIN MEDICATION...Plus gave me a SHOT for "INFORMATION" I promise you it WORK FOR ME. He gave it to me at 10am in the morning. I felt a DIFFERENCE later on that EVENING.. So much RELEASE of PAIN in my KNEES and they ALSO gave me a knee BRACE. I took off my right knee...that EVENING and I was WALKING so much BETTER. I was in so much CRUCIAL pain for 5 MONTHS...THANK YOU SO MUCH, 4 RELEASING THAT MUCH, PAIN FROM ME I have APPOINTMENT next WEEK.. Definitely will be THERE

Outstanding, Dr. Carlos is fantastic he listens to my concerns and corrects misinformation I have heard. My pain levels have decreased since seeing him. I highly recommend anyone with pain to schedule an appointment and talk with him concerning your pain levels.
